Here At Last
Well Folks I have come to the end of my educational career. Now to begin the pursuit of a true career! My website is finally all the way up. You can jump over there and check out my final demo Reel as well as an updated 3D Gallery that includes some renders of my final portfolio pieces. However now with some free time on my hands perhaps a more polished version is in order. Who knows. Don't worry Internets there is more of the Jeremy Bolz to come...

A simple push forward....
Hey there all! I know it has been a while since my last post so This one will be a doozy! Been working on my final demo reel, hence the lack of updates. I will drop a post once that is all done and uploaded up on my website.
First off is some renders from the reel. My main pieces will be Cthulhu, The Pyro, a Smildon (Saber tooth Cat) skull, and the flamethower for the Pyro. Keep in mind I added quite a bit of grunge to the flamethower. Ultimately it was more of an exercise than a duplication. The point of the excercise being hardsurface modeling and texture painting. Of course it is also mandatory for me to post some more speed paints. Enjoy!

Weekend Update
Hey there all!
Work goes good on the pyro, I will post an update shortly. This past week I started my concept design class. Since I haven't worked the traditional art in a while I thought it would be prudent to warm up and start practice drawing. The first two are pencil and today's was pen and marker, which I draw least with. I decided starting after my class on Thursday, I would render two spheres a day as well as start a painting. Here is my progress.

Welcome to Blogging Town!
Hey there, vast internets! It recently was brought to my attention that a great way to show off my work was via a blog! So I decided, sure it sounds like fun.
Recently, at the behest of my classmates I made the fine purchase of the game team fortress two. At first I was skeptical. I mean I have played online PC shooters before: Halo, Alien vs Predator 2, counter strike, Unreal Tournament, all of these games had a great run. However, all of them had one fundamental flaw. Cheaters and lag began to castrate the experience. Eventually I could barely play a game and get any kind of emotional fulfillment. However, TF2 changed all of that and reignited my love of the PC shooter. So when I found a cool stylized version of the pyro class on Creature Box's website, I saw a golden opportunity. This would be a great chance for me to hone my stylized character skills.
Initially I did a quick layout of proportion with the reference then continued to combine and refine. This has been modeled in 3d Studio Max(another exercise). Keep in mind this is a work in progress. But hey that is what blogs are for :P
Enjoy!
